I bumped into former Reds legend David Regis the other day, he's now cleaning windows (when he's on target with the chamois leather of course). I also met former goalkeeper Roy Ironside (anyone who remembers him is one hell of a coffin dodger). At the time he was at the bus stop desperately hoping to prevent the bus from going between his legs.

You missed out Eric Brookes. Not that I'm a coffin dodger or anything. Er... what did I just say? Oh, well. Hand me a nice hot cup of tea while I collapse onto my Thora Hird stairlift and make my way up to bed.

Getting old isn't as bad as young 'uns might think. You forget where you've been, who your friends were, what you've achieved and everything and become totally confused. Take me for instance. I know for a fact that I've visited every continent, I was the chairman of ICI, I was behind the goal at the Neu Camp Stadium when Thierry Henry scored the winning goal for the Reds against Real Madrid in the 2002 Champions Final, and climbed Mount Everest (me, not Thierry Henry). Oh, yes. And I had a passionate affair with Britney. OK, so maybe I just imagined it about Britney...
